Neighbourhood Profile
The neighbourhood was named Overlanders to commemorate a group of miners who travelled from Fort Gary to the Cariboo gold fields in 1862, with a number of them abandoning the journey to settle in Edmonton. Victoria Trail marks the east boundary of Overlanders and offers quick access to the Yellowhead and Belmont Shopping Centre.
